How to Find Something
From the home page of the store, there are several ways to find what you
want. On the menu on the left hand side are links to find food by type, to
find food by region or state, or to find food by brand name. The store is
also searchable. You can either use the 'Search' bar on the Home Page or
click on the 'Search' button on the Menu Table on the left.
How to Buy
Buying from foodlocker.com is easy and secure. You don't have to fill out
a registration form or download software to shop here. When you place an
order, you can feel confident that your credit card information is
protected by our secure
server.
For every in-stock item, there will be a series of 'Add to Shopping
Cart' buttons. These buttons add the item to your shopping cart based upon
the method of delivery you prefer (ground, second day, or next day
service). Putting something in your shopping cart does not commit you to
buy it. After you put something in your shopping cart, you can choose to
place the order immediately, or continue shopping. You can put as many
items as you want in your shopping cart.
When you're finished and want to place the order, you can get back to
your shopping cart by clicking on the 'What's in my Shopping Cart?'
button.
Problems Ordering?
If you click on the 'Add to Shopping Cart' button and get no response, it
is probably because you cannot connect securely to our server. As a test,
try going to https://www.microsoft.com.
If you cannot connect securely to Microsoft either, then you have a very
old browser (which should be upgraded) or you are behind a corporate
firewall that will not permit a secure connection. If the latter is the
case, please ask your network administrator to fix the problem, or
consider placing your order from home.
Guarantee and Returns
foodlocker.com guarantees that you will be 100% satisfied with your
order. If you are not satisfied for any reason, please contact our
Customer Service department at info@foodlocker.com
so that we may attempt to remedy the situation.
All unopened, non-perishable products may be returned within 30 days
for a full refund. However, please do not return any product without first
obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number, which may be
obtained by contacting Customer Service at info@foodlocker.com.
Credit for the full purchase price of any item so returned will be issued
to the purchasing credit card.
Shipping costs will be refunded only in the event of an error on the
part of foodlocker.com or damage caused by the freight carrier.
Only items that were purchased from foodlocker.com will be accepted
as returned merchandise.
Shipping
Items are primarily shipped via UPS, DHL, or FedEx, but may also be
shipped via U.S. Postal Service or Airborne
Express. For some items, you may be able to select the shipping option you
prefer (ground, two day, overnight). This is accomplished by clicking on
the 'Add to Shopping Cart' button which indicates the price of the product
inclusive of shipping per the schedule you desire. Our pricing is designed
this way so that there is no confusion or surprise when the final tally is
calculated for your Shopping Cart at the time the transaction is complete
and you are ready to place your order. This mechanism also allows multiple
products from several vendors to be shipped each according to your wishes.
Other than for certain perishable items, you never have to pay to ship
anything faster, and therefore more expensively, than you wish.
Shipping options may be limited for specific products or vendors. Some
products require specific shipping schedules due to the perishable nature
of the goods themselves. When your shipping options are restricted, you
will find that there are fewer 'Add to Shopping Cart' buttons available.
Please note that all perishable items must be shipped per the schedule
required by the vendor.
Orders may only be shipped to a deliverable street address - no P.O.
Boxes. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico may incur additional shipping charges. Delivery requests for weekends or holidays will also incur additional shipping charges (if such delivery service is available for that product)
Presently, foodlocker.com can only fill orders within the United
States of America. We look forward to filling international orders in the
future.
Limited Quantities
Many of our vendors are small businesses and restaurateurs. In addition to
issues regarding perishability, the nature of their operations often
results in limited availability of the goods they offer. Some of the
manufacturers of prepared foods base production estimates on demand
generated by their local or regional markets. This circumstance may also
result in periodic shortages of goods, particularly during the peak of
certain holiday seasons.
Be assured that, whenever we become aware of a limitation in quantity
or unavailability of products, we will post a notice alongside the
information pertaining to that product. Likewise, if excessive demand is
slowing the vendor's ability to fulfill orders in timely fashion, we will
also post a notice indicating our estimate of the length of the delay.
We will always go out of our way to apprise you of any changing
circumstances as we become aware of them. Please let us know if we can do
more to eliminate any inconvenience you find in shopping on

Privacy Policy
foodlocker.com uses customer information only for order fulfillment
and direct contact with our customers. We will not sell or knowingly
disclose your email address or other personal information without your
prior permission to do so. Depending upon the degree of such permission we
may, on occasion, contact you with news of special offers, new products,
or items of related interest. We will always remove your name and other
information from our contact lists should you so request. Please inform us
if you have reason to believe that your privacy in not being adequately
maintained through some act or omission of ours.
