Back in 1977, we opened a little BBQ place near downtown Houston. With no restaurant experience, and very little money, we began to transform this forty seat cafe into what we had dreamed. By our way of thinking, what Texas BBQ ought to be. From the beginning we promised ourselves to serve-up nothing but the best. The quality had to be right. We went the extra mile, baking our own breads and pies, making and smoking our own sausage, and perfecting our sauces and spices. After twenty years, our business has grown to four restaurants. The promise to serve-up nothing but the best remains the same."
