  
As MISS SCARLETT SPECIALTY FOODS approaches our twenty-fifth year in business, we are totally convinced that our story and the successful growth of our company is truly the "American Dream Come True". Little did Peggy and Ralph Luper, the founders of this family owned business, ever imagine while cooking Red Pepper Jelly in their home kitchen a quarter of a century ago, that their efforts creating 2600 jars of jelly that first month would eventually lead to an expanded product line consisting of seventy-four uniquely delicious specialty foods that today are marketed throughout the US as well as many foreign countries.
MISS SCARLETT"S product collection, consisting of marinated and pickled fruits and vegetables, flavored and stuffed olives and onions, salads, spreads, and "brandied" fruits, were an instant success. Peggy and Ralph are still testing and creating new ideas in their home kitchen in order to bring to the market place new and exciting taste treats. Most of the specialty fruits and vegetables used in the line are grown especially for MISS SCARLETT in California in order to meet their high standards of quality. Other fruits and vegetables are selected and purchased on the world market while always searching for the finest, freshest, and tastiest produce available, and also fairly priced.
The Lupers are convinced that their success is based on consistently providing the highest quality of raw materials used in each and every product, as well as great flavors, appetizing appearance, attractive packaging, uniqueness, and, of course, healthy ingredients.
