  
Exceptional cheese straws begin with exceptional cheese, which is why J&M Foods founder Jamie Parham always used the finest aged chedar in her century-old family recipe for homeade cheese straws. In true Southern spirit, she carefully blended and baked melt-in-your-mouth cheese straws for friends and family each holiday season.
For years, the jubilant recipients of Jamie's cheese straws encouraged her to sell the delicacies. In 1989, she obliged by selling her delectable cheese straws to local gourmet stores in and around her hometown of Little Rock, Ark. With the help of her two daughters Janis and Melanie, J&M Foods was born.
