Bottled by the Estate of M. Barbera, this award-winning, cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil originates from the west and central regions of Sicily, namely Parma, Castelvetrano, Giuliana, Chiusa Scalfani, Valderice, Buseto and Castelluzzo. Frantoia's distinct and decisive character starts from its aroma: the delicate, fruity flavor reminiscent of fresh olives and end with a pleasnat aftertaste of sweet almonds.
The unfiltered EVOO is a blend of three variteites of olives (30% Nocellara del Belice , 30% Ogliarola and 40% Biancolilla) harvested by hand from mid-hillside, milled within twenty-four hours of harvest and allow to settle and decant naturally.
