  
ARDECHE MARRONS is based in DAVEZIEUX in the mountainous Ardèche region. Producing some of the best chestnut varieties, the Ardèche region accounts for half of the total French chestnut production.
Chestnuts are hand sorted, with no chemical treatment or additives. The fruit is initially fire-roasted, then carefully processed using traditional methods which have been adapted to today's gourmet taste.
Only natural flavors and ingredients, such as cane sugar, vanilla extract, and fruits, are used. Our products contain no artificial coloring or preservatives. All products are certified to be superior quality by an independent laboratory. We are producing in a newly built factory opened in 2001 under H.A.C.C.P and the lastest European health food regulation; our products and process are US FDA approved.
Chestnuts are an excellent, flavorful fruit and are gluten free. They're nutritious, easily digested, and regarded as a tonic for the nervous system. They're a sweet and tasty source of fiber, iron, calcium, and vitamins B, C and E. Prior to opening, shelf life is 3 years from manufacturing date.
